KNOW ABOUT OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
THE YEAR 2013
This was Team Arcis’ inaugural year, where the NASA System Engineering Award was awarded to us at the SAE Aero-Design Competition (East).
THE YEAR 2014
Our team competed in the SAE Aero Design Competition (East) in 2014, where we placed second among Indian teams and twenty-eighth globally.
THE YEAR 2015
Our team competed in the SAE Aero-Design Competition (West) in 2015, placing first among the Indian teams and tenth globally.
THE YEAR 2016
Our team competed in the SAE Aero-Design Competition (West) 2016, placing first among Indian teams and twenty-fifth overall.
THE YEAR 2017
Our team participated in the SAE Aero-Design Competition (West) in 2017 in two sections: regular class and Micro class. In the Regular class, we were ranked first nationally and twentieth globally. In the Micro class, we were ranked third nationally and seventeenth globally.
THE YEAR 2018
2018, our team competed in the SAE Aero-Design Competition (West). In the Regular class, we placed second nationally and eighth globally, whereas in the Micro class, we were awarded second in the Technical Design Report and twelfth overall globally.
THE YEAR 2019
Our team competed in the SAE Aero-Design Competition (West) in 2019, and we won two silver awards for our technical reports. Overall, we came seventh in both the Regular and Advanced divisions. In terms of presentation, we came in first, and in terms of technical design report, we came in second.
THE YEAR 2020
Our team competed in the 2020 SAE Aero-Design competition (West) and AIAA-DBF competitions. In SAE, we were ranked third globally in the Micro class and first place in the category of oral technical presentation.
THE YEAR 2022
In AIAA-DBF, we globally ranked 19th in the Technical Design report with an overall ranking of 54th.
THE YEAR 2023
In AIAA-DBF, we globally ranked 17th in the Technical Design report with an overall ranking of 82nd.
Since the team's beginning, we have continuously delivered strong performance and worked hard to improve each year. We are just two aero design teams from India that participated in the world's two most important aero design competitions, the SAE Aero Design Competition and the AIAA-DBF Challenge.
THE YEAR 2024
In AIAA-DBF, we globally ranked 14th in the Technical Design report .
In SAE Aero-design West, we stood third in technical design reports globally in the regular class.
